watched hellboy 2004

charming movie. i adore the aesthetic, and i think hellboy is a really strong character. there's lots of ideas here that i think are compelling but they just didn't dig into them as much as i was hoping they would, so i felt kind of underwhelmed. i wish i liked it more but oh well.
