Just rewatched SU: The Movie. It's pretty good! It's a good continuation of the show and it plays into all of the things that made the series so great. The music was so great, as is always the case with SU, and I'm going to have it stuck in my head for a long time. Spinel is such an interesting character, probably one of the most interesting across all of SU. She's so delightful and tragic, and the way she's animated is super fun. Very memorable. I just don't like that they chose to have her live with the diamonds at the end. It doesn't feel like the healthiest choice, nor is it all that satisfying of a conclusion imo.

But overall, the movie was cute.
