leejooheontalked to my therapist yesterday. it was pretty nice getting some of my feelings out. right now i'm just trying to focus on completing some of my daily chores. i'm supposed to be studying but it's always really difficult to get started :(
i found my journal again! i'm gonna try and write in it today.
i'm thinking about maybe playing some video games later if i have the time for it? i do plan on calling a friend so we can watch some shows together, but maybe i'll still have some time for myself after that.
tumblr has been panicking lately over the idea of the site shutting down, because apparently there are only 25 workers left. tumblr is my most used social media, i have met pretty much all my long time friends on it, and it's a site i'm very comfortable with, i like the circle of mutuals i have ended up with. there's also so many memories on my blogs that i don't want gone :( it would just really suck if the site actually shut down, because it has a very special culture and there are also no other places on the internet like it. being said, i'm not feeling super pessimistic about it yet, because tumblr has been through many close calls and still made it fine in the end.
i was talking with friends about where we would go if tumblr shut down. i already use twitter a lot (i know it sucks, but i have a well established mutual circle there that i like keeping up with and there are many artists i follow on the site, and i would hate to miss out on their work. its just what it is) so i would probably just keep using that, and maybe also start using bluesky more regularly.
i mentioned dreamwidth to my friend, but she said she couldn't quite get the hang of it, which is fair. i also think dreamwidth has a very different feel to even sites like tumblr. i think most of us use it as a form of personal journaling, so it's a lot of posts about the quiet and the mundane. which i really enjoy, but it's not necessarily what i someone looking for a tumblr replacement would be looking for.
